2000sOn 13 November 2000 Sade released their sixth album Lovers Rock in the United Kingdom. On 14 November 2000 Lovers Rock was released in the United States. Lovers Rock subsequently won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album on February 27, 2002.
In 2001 Sade went on their US Lovers Rock tour.
On 18 February 2002 Sade released their seventh album Lovers Live in the United Kingdom. On 5 February 2002 Lovers Live was released in the United States.
In 2004, Sweetback released their second album, Stage 2. In 2005, Sade contributed the bonus track Mum to the Voices for Darfur DVD.
