1990sOn 11 November 1992 Sade released their fourth album Love Deluxe in the United Kingdom. On 21 November 1992 Love Deluxe was released in the United States.
In 1993 Sade went on their world Love Deluxe tour. Augmenting Sade were Leroy Osbourne (vocals), Gordon Hunte (guitar), Trevor Murrell (drums), Karl Vanden Bossche (percussion) and Rick Braun (trumpet). In 1994 Sade won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for No Ordinary Love.
On 12 November 1994 Sade released their fifth album The Best of Sade in the United Kingdom. On 26 November 1994 The Best of Sade was released in the United States.
In 1996, Hale, Denman, and Matthewman formed their own band, Sweetback, and released their first, self-titled album.
